1. The hardness of the bottle to be attached

The degree of softness and hardness of the bottle is different, and the selected self-adhesive materials are also different. For bottles that are relatively soft and often need to be squeezed (such as facial cleanser, skin lotion, cleansing milk, etc.), be sure to use comparison. Soft and follow-up PE or polyolefin materials are used to make labels , otherwise the labels can easily curl or wrinkle during use.

The PE material is mostly white or transparent, and has the advantages of being very soft and having two-way stretchability, and exhibiting good followability on the surface of a soft bottle body which is required to be frequently pressed; the disadvantage is that transparency and high temperature resistance are poor. Polyolefin materials usually refer to a material formed by high-temperature copolymerization of BOPP and PE materials, and the most representative ones are Avery's Fassen Bright and Plymans. Polyolefin materials also have relatively good softness, while also having unidirectional stretchability; their disadvantages are poor transparency and high temperature resistance.

In terms of softness and followability, there is not much difference between polyolefin materials and PE materials, but in terms of price, polyolefin materials are more expensive than PE materials. Moreover, polyolefin materials have a considerable advantage over PE materials, which is more suitable for high-speed labeling. We know that many cosmetic labels are labeled on the automatic labeling machine. Since the PE material is biaxially stretchable, the stiffness of the label made from this material in both directions is relatively low. When the speed of the automatic labeling machine is relatively fast, the label may be wrinkled or tilted. Since the polyolefin material has unidirectional stretchability, the stiffness of the label made of this material is quite good in one direction, and the label printing enterprise can make the direction of the goodness in the process of making the label. It is perpendicular to the running direction of the automatic labeler, so that the label will not wrinkle or tilt when labeling at high speed on the automatic labeler.

At the same time, due to the transparency of BOPP material, there is a similar effect of “no label” on the transparent bottle, so it is also one of the commonly used cosmetic label materials. 2, the material of the bottle

The material of the cosmetic bottle itself is also an important factor affecting the selection of self-adhesive materials. Generally speaking, it is best to use the same self-adhesive material as the bottle material, for example, a label made of PE material on a PE material bottle and a label made of a BO PP material on a PP material bottle body. This is because the expansion ratio of the bottle of the same material and the label is basically the same. When it encounters thermal expansion and contraction or is squeezed, the combination of the two will be more tight, and the label lifting, wrinkles or Shedding and other phenomena. Therefore, when labeling companies choose the right label material for their customers, it is best to first understand the material of the bottle used by the customer, which helps to provide customers with the best self-adhesive materials.

3, the transparency of the bottle

Depending on the transparency, cosmetic bottles on the market today can be classified into three types: transparent, translucent and opaque. According to the customer's cosmetic packaging design concept, label printing companies can provide customers with different transparency of self-adhesive materials. The transparency of PE and polyolefin materials is not good, and labels made of these two materials have an effect similar to frosted glass. This may seem to be a disadvantage, but it is very suitable if it is used on a frosted cosmetic bottle. The combination of the two is quite harmonious and can reflect an elegant and noble effect. The transparency of the BOPP material is very good, and the surface of the transparent cosmetic bottle can give a "no label" feeling.
